Mutera Global Healing

Mutera Global Healing is on a mission to eradicate child sexual violence through prevention, healing, and justice. With the vision of creating a safe environment for every child, Mutera has actively supported hundreds of survivors, providing counseling, legal advocacy, and medical services in the Rukungiri and Kanungu districts in Southwest Uganda. The impact of their work is evident as perpetrators are being tried and convicted for the first time, setting a precedent that protects future generations from such heinous acts. Notably, more than sixty assailants, including a grandfather who received a thirty-two-year sentence, are currently serving time in prison, signifying a historic shift in addressing such crimes. Additionally, for each survivor, Mutera assigns a dedicated legal advocate responsible for facilitating police arrests, covering fees, filing reports, and supporting families throughout the complex court process. Founded in 2015, Mutera operates in the Education and Health Care sectors, with headquarters based in Rwanda. Despite not having received a recent investment, Mutera's impactful initiatives make it a compelling opportunity for prospective investors or organizations seeking to support meaningful and transformative endeavors in the fight against child sexual violence.
