Center for Community Solutions

Center for Community Solutions is a San Diego based startup with a mission to end relationship and sexual violence as a catalyst for Social Justice. Since 1969, they have been providing compassionate and innovative solutions for individuals affected by violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Their comprehensive programs, including 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelters, legal services, counseling, prevention and education, and community outreach, aim to eliminate societal conditions condoning violence. Operating as the only Rape Crisis Center in San Diego, CCS served over 22,000 individuals affected by intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and stalking last year. The startup also received a $50.00K grant investment from the S. Mark Taper Foundation on April 9, 2019. Center for Community Solutions' vision is for all people to live full, free, expressive, and empowered lives in a safe, vibrant, healthy, and peaceful community. Their mission focuses on creating caring communities and social justice. As a part of the health care industry, the startup continues to evolve as a leader in providing support for individuals affected by violence.
