Stand Up Placer, Inc.

Stand Up Placer, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that has been serving Placer County since 1978 with a mission to empower survivors and educate communities to stand up against domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. The organization provides comprehensive services including a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, job readiness training, therapy, legal advocacy, and prevention programming for local schools and organizations. Stand Up Placer aims to offer survivor-driven services that empower individuals to heal from trauma and achieve self-sufficiency. As a recognized Rape Crisis Center for Placer County, the organization also provides hospital accompaniment and support for sexual assault victims through the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). The focus of the organization on creating a stronger, safer community through survivor support and prevention initiatives aligns with the growing awareness and importance of addressing these critical issues.
