Zahidjee Textile Mills Limited (PSX: ZAHID) was established in 1990 as a public limited company under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now, Companies Act, 2017).

Zahidjee Textile Mills Limited has multiple business divisions, which consist of spinning, stitching, export, power generation, and weaving. The company exports value-added fabrics along with textile made-ups. It is also engaged in the business of manufacturing, and selling yarn. Zahidjee Textile Mills Limited is one of the most modern, largest vertically integrated textile companies in Pakistan. Zahidjee Textile Mills Limited has over 95,000 spindles, 400 Sulzer looms. The Company also has one of the most modern stitching units for the production of home textiles and garments. It has power generation facilities with a capacity of 25 MW. The Company aims to produce as much renewable energy as it consumes in its operations and is adopting solar energy with peak installed power 252.8 KWP after realizing the huge benefits to be gained.

The Company’s total sale for the year 2018-19 was Rs. 13.4 billion, year 2019-20 was Rs. 13.9 billion with the company's net profit amounting to Rs. 694.9 million in year 2019-20. Due to the application of prudent management policies, consolidation of operations, a strong balance sheet, and an effective marketing strategy, the growth trend is expected to continue in the years to come. The Company’s production facilities consist of spinning, weaving, processing, stitching, and power generation.
