Ibrahim Fibres Ltd. is Pakistan's largest producer of Polyester Staple Fiber and a leading textile manufacturing company. The company's diversified business group includes finance and ownership of one of the country's oldest banks, Allied Bank Limited. The company's Polyester Plant consists of three production plants with a capacity to produce 390,600 tons per annum of Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF). Additionally, the Spun Yarn Division consists of four projects with a combined installed capacity of 238,176 spindles. Ibrahim Fibres Limited also operates three power generation plants with a total capacity of 93.7 MW. In August 2004, the consortium of Ibrahim Leasing Limited and Ibrahim Group assumed control of Allied Bank by injecting Rs 14.2 billion into its capital for acquiring 325 million additional shares.
