Women's Business Council - Southwest

The Women's Business Council - Southwest (WBCS) is a national certification organization dedicated to empowering women-owned businesses. Founded in 1995, WBCS certifies businesses that are 51 percent owned, controlled, and operated by women. It aims to facilitate procurement opportunities between corporations, government entities, and women business enterprises (WBEs). WBCS provides a stringent national certification process and offers networking and educational opportunities throughout the year to enable access to qualified WBEs. As a partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), WBCS certifies businesses in a region that includes Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The council's slogan, "Empowering Women-Owned Businesses through Certification, Procurement, Networking, and Education," encapsulates its mission to support and promote women-owned businesses in various industries, including Women's Health.
