Todos Pela Educação

Todos Pela Educação is an independent, diverse, and decisive organization for the quality of Primary Education in Brazil. Founded in 2006, it is a movement in Brazilian society with the mission of engaging the government and the public in ensuring the right of children and youth to quality Basic Education. The organization is non-partisan and inclusive, bringing together public officials, educators, parents, students, researchers, journalists, entrepreneurs, and social organizations committed to ensuring this right. The Todos Pela Educação aims to facilitate access for all 4 to 17-year-olds, full literacy by the age of 8, appropriate learning for each age, completion of stages at the proper age, and expansion and sound management of investments in Basic Education. In addition, the movement has adopted 5 Urgent Priorities, such as teacher training and career, learning rights, pedagogical use of assessments, Integral Education, and enhancement of governance and management in the field. Recognizing the historical inequality in Brazilian Education, Todos Pela Educação believes that government action alone is insufficient. It emphasizes the importance of collective involvement aligned with public education policies to improve the quality of Basic Education. With its comprehensive approach and broad coalition, Todos Pela Educação forms a pivotal force in paving the way for positive change in Brazil's education landscape.
