Redes da Maré

Redes da Maré is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening access to rights for the 140,000 residents of the 16 favelas of Maré. The organization operates in four key areas considered foundational for improving quality of life and ensuring basic rights for this population: Education, Public Security and Access to Justice, Arts, Culture, Memory, and Identities, and Territorial Development. Since its establishment in 1997, Redes da Maré has been committed to advocating for the rights of the residents and contributing to the sustainable development of the region.

Redes da Maré's last investment, a grant investment received on 01 January 2022, came from Imaginable Futures.
