The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC) is the world's first child protection agency, dedicated to preventing abuse and helping children heal. Founded in 1875, it provides best practice counseling, legal, and educational services to abused and neglected children, as well as those involved in their care. The organization's goal is to establish primary, secondary, and tertiary child abuse and neglect prevention programs, targeting the most complex cases. In November 07, 2023, it received a $1.65M grant investment from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and the National Institutes of Health.

The NYSPCC's services are offered free of charge to vulnerable children and families in New York City, aiming to reach and impact countless lives.
