Riverfront Federal Credit Union is a financial institution with a clear mission: "To enhance the financial lives of our members." Founded in 1948, the credit union initially focused on serving the employees of the Reading Railroad. However, over the years, Riverfront Federal Credit Union (RFCU) has expanded its reach to embrace a wider community. In 1987, the institution changed its name to reflect this inclusive approach, becoming Riverfront Federal Credit Union. In 2008, obtaining a charter amendment was a significant milestone for Riverfront. This amendment allowed individuals residing, working, worshipping, or attending school in Berks County, Pennsylvania, or legal entities conducting business in the area to join the credit union. Presently, Riverfront Federal Credit Union operates from two branch locations in Berks County, situated at 430 S. 4th Street and 2001 Museum Road, Wyomissing, effectively catering to the needs of a growing membership base. The institution operates within the Finance, Financial Services, Lending, and Investments industries.
