Maryland Tech Council

The Maryland Tech Council is a leading technology and life science industry association, dedicated to fostering growth and innovation within the state of Maryland. With over 700 members, the organization offers a supportive community and valuable resources to facilitate learning, sharing, and networking.

Members benefit from a range of resources, including educational programs led by industry experts, advocacy at state and national levels, and various event participation opportunities. Additionally, the Cost Savings Program provides access to discounts on essential business services.

One of the notable assets of the Maryland Tech Council is the Maryland Health Care Product Development Corporation (MHCPDC), which focuses on fostering the growth of the state's biomedical industry through early-stage investments in promising Maryland-based biomedical and medical technology companies. Furthermore, the MdBioLab program brings science literacy to Maryland high schools through a mobile bioscience laboratory.

Having been founded in 1986, the organization continues to play a pivotal role in advancing the education and development of the technology and life sciences sectors in the United States.

Most recently, the Maryland Tech Council secured a notable $2.45 million grant investment on March 22, 2022, further solidifying its commitment to supporting and propelling the growth of its members and the broader technology and life science community.
