LINK Unlimited Scholars

LINK Unlimited Scholars is a renowned Chicago-based institution that has been dedicated to nurturing the potential of African American youth since its establishment in 1966. Through its unique programs and mentorship opportunities, LINK Unlimited Scholars aims to alter the trajectory of high-potential African American youth, both in and out of the classroom. With a mission to bridge opportunity gaps and promote economic stability, LINK has provided support to over 2,500 scholars thus far.

The organization's comprehensive approach encompasses college prep education, one-on-one mentoring, summer learning, personal leadership development, and career readiness, along with access to college and success resources. As a result of LINK's efforts, their scholars have secured admission to selective colleges and universities, subsequently excelling in various fields such as business, education, engineering, architecture, law, and medicine. Notably, many of LINK's alumni now serve as mentors to current scholars, contributing to the continuity of the program's impact.

Notably, the latest significant investment for LINK Unlimited Scholars was a grant received on August 8, 2023, from the NBA Foundation. This strategic partnership signifies the recognition and support from prominent entities, further reinforcing LINK's mission and initiatives.
