Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) is a leading entity representing the downstream hydrocarbon industry in the Arabian Gulf, establishing its presence since 2006. With a membership base of over 230 companies from the chemical and allied industries, the GPCA effectively advocates the collective interests of its members, accounting for more than 95% of chemical output in the Gulf region, equating to a staggering US$97.3 billion annually. The association's core mission entails promoting the region’s petrochemical and chemical industry through various initiatives, including advocacy, networking, and thought leadership programs, facilitating knowledge exchange, international dialogue, and industry influence. The GPCA operates through six working committees, covering areas such as Plastics, Supply Chain, Fertilizers, International Trade, Research and Innovation, and Responsible Care.
