Friends of Little Saigon is an organization with a mission to preserve and enhance the cultural, economic, and historic significance of Little Saigon. Little Saigon, located in the Puget Sound region, serves as the social, economic, and cultural hub for the Vietnamese community. Over the past 30 years, it has evolved into a vibrant and essential part of the Vietnamese community and the International District.
Founded in 2011, Friends of Little Saigon has garnered support from various stakeholders, including a recent grant investment of $35.10K from the City of Seattle on 28 June 2023. This investment reflects the recognition of the organization's role in preserving the cultural heritage and fostering economic growth within Little Saigon. As the area continues to flourish, this support will enable the organization to further its mission and positively impact the community.
