Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is a non-profit organization founded in 1957 with a mission to prevent delinquency and cultivate law-abiding, resilient, and productive citizens. The organization operates three residential child-care campuses - Boys Ranch/Live Oak, Youth Villa/Bartow, and Youth Ranch/Safety Harbor - across Florida, providing stable homes to disadvantaged children. Staffed by dedicated professionals including therapists, teachers, and full-time parents, the campuses offer a nurturing environment, instilling strong values and guiding children towards a better future. FSYR also offers camping services programs, including week-long overnight summer camps in three locations, and a mobile day camp known as "Harmony in the Streets" that travels across counties. With a focus on the Care Economy, FSYR aims to address the needs of neglected children and provide them with opportunities for a brighter future.
