Youth Haven, Inc. is a health care startup based in the United States that has been providing Home, Hope, and Healing to abused and neglected children and teens in Southwest Florida since its founding in 1972. The organization runs three main comprehensive programs: The Emergency & Residential Shelter (Cottages), the Homeless Teen & Transitional Living Program (HTTLP), and the Counseling Center. These programs offer around-the-clock specialized care for children and teens, providing services such as nutritious meals, clothing, educational support, medical care, dental care, mental health care, therapy, and counseling in a homelike environment. Youth Haven is the only residential and emergency shelter for boys and girls in the age group of 10-19 who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment in the region. The startup has also received recognition for its financial health and transparency, as it holds a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator and is fully accredited by the nationally-recognized Council on Accreditation (COA). Youth Haven has recently secured a $400.00K grant investment from the Naples Children & Education Foundation on 20 March 2023. This investment further underscores the commitment of external parties to support the pivotal mission of the organization.
