A community response to family homelessness
Family Promise Metrowest is a nonprofit organization with a mission to address family homelessness by providing temporary housing, education, and comprehensive support. Their Shelter program offers temporary housing coupled with intensive family coaching, while the SAIL Program provides ongoing coaching and rental subsidies for families as they transition back into apartments. The LIFE homelessness prevention and shelter diversion program supports families at risk of eviction, and the Steps to Success Program focuses on educational and employment opportunities for parents and teens. Established in 2008 and headquartered in the United States, Family Promise Metrowest recently received a grant investment on 21 June 2023 from the Metrowest Women’s Fund.
