Established in 1969 by Gladys Thacher, the organization has grown from facilitating summer job placements to offering a comprehensive range of programs. The startup operates one of San Francisco's largest job banks catering exclusively to high school students, facilitating the access to employment opportunities.

The latest boost came in the form of a grant investment from Salesforce on 25 July 2019, signaling recognition and support from established players in the industry.
