ECDC African Community Center of Denver

The ECDC African Community Center of Denver is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 with a mission to help refugees and immigrants rebuild safe, sustainable lives in Denver. They aim to be an integrative center of multicultural exchange where community members feel a sense of belonging and actively contribute to an inclusive society. ACC welcomes refugees who have fled persecution and have been granted third country resettlement through UNHCR and the U.S. State Department, catering to individuals from various regions of the world. The organization operates in the United States and received a grant investment on 01 June 2023 from the Rose Community Foundation. With a diverse staff, faithful volunteers, and interns, ACC conducts educational and social service programs to help newcomers integrate into the community and navigate U.S. systems and cultures, ultimately fostering confidence and economic self-sufficiency. Their vision is to enable refugees and immigrants to become productive, contributing, thriving members of society through their initiatives.
