North Carolina African Services Coalition (NCASC)

North Carolina African Services Coalition (NCASC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1997 to support refugees, asylees, and victims of human trafficking in Greensboro, NC. Originally formed as a community support group for the African community, it has evolved into a refugee resettlement agency through partnerships with the NC Office of Refugee Resettlement and Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC). NCASC aids newly arrived refugee families from various countries by helping them acclimate to their new environment and access resources for employment, education, finances, and health. Guilford County, where NCASC operates, hosts a diverse refugee population and welcomes approximately 500 new refugees annually. The organization offers services such as employment and referrals to refugees, asylees, and human trafficking victims who have been in the U.S. for less than 5 years. This includes recent arrivals, former NCASC clients, and referrals from other agencies.
