The name Duhqa is derived from the common Arabic and Swahili word "Duka," meaning shop, commonly used in East, West, and North Africa. The team comprises professionals across different countries in Africa who understand the challenges affecting the continent in logistics and distribution. In addition, the investors and teams become better in changing the world. Duhqa received a Non Equity Assistance investment on 14 February 2024 from Visa Accelerator. Founded in 2021, Duhqa operates in the industries of Consumer Goods, E-Commerce, Logistics, Retail, and SaaS, with its headquarters based in Kenya.
