A2SV | Africa to Silicon Valley is a nonprofit tech academy and incubator empowering African university students with high-impact tech education to transform them into proficient software engineers, tech entrepreneurs, and innovators. They partner with top African universities, providing free world-class tech education and connecting students with opportunities from hiring partners like Google, Bloomberg, Amazon, and Meta. Additionally, A2SV has an incubator arm that hires alumni to develop socially impactful digital projects addressing Africa’s challenges. In the past 5 years, A2SV has trained over 800 students, secured 60+ job offers from global tech leaders, and organized Africa’s largest hackathon, engaging 4,900+ participants from 48 African countries. Despite the impact, they aim to expand their reach and impact across Africa, seeking new financial partners to amplify their mission. The startup aims to advance Africa’s tech ecosystem, fostering innovation and technological excellence to shape a future where Africa is recognized as a hub of innovation. A2SV was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in the United States.
