Creative Visions is a nonprofit organization founded in 1998 with a mission to create a more just, caring, and sustainable world through impact storytelling. The company empowers creative activists globally to utilize the power of media, art, and education to raise awareness of critical issues and drive positive change. The term "creative activist" was coined by Kathy Eldon after her son Dan Eldon, an artist and activist, was tragically killed in Somalia in 1993. To honor his legacy, Kathy and her daughter Amy established Creative Visions to support individuals in using media and arts as tools for meaningful change. As a 501(c)(3) and United Nations NGO, Creative Visions holds a significant global presence, managing a network of activists, artists, filmmakers, advisors, and organizations. Moreover, the company conducts in-person and online gatherings to connect people, raise awareness, and inspire action. With a focus on the education sector, Creative Visions serves as a driving force for creative activism, fostering a community dedicated to promoting positive social and environmental impact.
