Connecticut Science Center
The Connecticut Science Center is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 with a mission to inspire lifelong learning and engage people in science through hands-on, interactive experiences. Located in downtown Hartford, the LEED-Gold certified center offers more than 165 exhibits across ten galleries, covering a wide range of topics such as space and earth sciences, physical sciences, biology, and alternative energy sources. The center also features educational labs, a 3D digital theater, a function room, and ongoing events for all ages.
With a focus on enhancing science education in Connecticut and New England, the Science Center serves as a valuable learning resource for students and adults, promoting scientific exploration and education through a variety of programs and partnerships with educational organizations. The center is also home to the Joyce D. and Andrew J. Mandell Academy for Teachers, providing professional development for educators.
