Charlotte Family Housing (CFH) is a non-profit organization with a mission to address family homelessness by empowering working families to achieve long-term self-sufficiency. Through a combination of Housing, Trauma-Informed Counseling, and Empowerment Tools, CFH supports families, mainly employed in service-economy jobs, to break the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle. With a dedicated support team and empowerment tools such as matched savings and workshops, CFH focuses on areas like financial literacy, career building, and parenting skills.
Upon program completion, CFH aims for families to have a sustainable income, financial confidence, and a support system to maintain stable housing. Notably, CFH maintains contact with families for 2 years post-program, contributing to a 98% sustained housing rate and 52 home purchases by program graduates.
Founded in 2012, CFH recently secured a $175.00K grant investment from TD Asset Management in May 14, 2024, reflecting investor confidence in its impactful initiatives.
