Established in 1999, the Association is the sole representative body for charity retailers in the UK, collectively managing more than 8,500 shops. Their multifaceted approach involves lobbying, public relations, and fostering good practice, further supported by research, market analysis, and relevant guidance.

Their extensive range of activities includes conducting the Charity Retail Conference, Exhibition, and Awards, offering training and support, facilitating networking opportunities, and providing free legal and security advice lines.
