ASFA | The Voice of Super
ASFA is the peak policy, research and advocacy body for Australia’s superannuation industry. Founded in 1962, the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) is dedicated to advancing the best retirement outcomes for super fund members through the development of good public policy and industry best practice.
Operating as a not-for-profit organization, ASFA reinvests its income back into the industry and community through research and advocacy projects. This includes producing submissions to the government, reports, best practice papers, community education, and research into key issues affecting superannuation fund members.
ASFA takes a non-sector aligned and non-party political approach, focusing on whole-of-system issues and advocating for the best interests of fund members without favoring any specific sector or political agenda.
Representing the entire super industry through its members, which include superannuation funds from the corporate, industry, retail, and public sectors, ASFA also offers continuing professional development (CPD) courses and superannuation education through ASFA Learning, catering to individuals at all career stages.
ASFA is a vital player in shaping Australia’s superannuation landscape, advocating for sound, long-term public policy and industry best practices. For more information, visit ASFA Learning.
