The Australian Airports Association (AAA) is the national voice for Australian airports, representing the interests of more than 340 airports and aerodromes. Founded in 1982, the AAA has been the leading advocate for appropriate national policy relating to airport activities. It facilitates cooperation among all member airports and their aviation partners, contributing to a safe, secure, environmentally responsible, and efficient air transport system. The AAA represents the interests of more than 330 airports and aerodromes across Australia, from local country community landing strips to major international gateway airports. Additionally, it counts around 160 corporate members representing aviation stakeholders and organizations providing goods and services to the airport sector.
