AGS Airports Limited is a UK-based company jointly held by Ferrovial (via Faero UK Limited) and AGS Airports International Sarl, a majority-owned Luxembourg company by Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 4 and managed by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (Europe) Limited). Led by Derek Provan as the CEO, the company is backed by the extensive knowledge and global contacts of both partners, with a successful history of partnering on various infrastructure projects including airports like Bristol Airport and Sydney Airport.

With over two decades of experience in developing and owning essential infrastructure globally, Macquarie manages investments on behalf of institutional investors and is one of the world’s leading airport owners via its managed funds. Leveraging deep operational and financial expertise, Macquarie manages stakes in airports around the world including Aberdeen, Brussels, Cairns, Glasgow, Gold Coast, Hobart, Longreach, Mackay, Mount Isa, Perth, Southampton, and Townsville.

Ferrovial, on the other hand, has been associated with the aviation industry since 1998 and has invested in 32 airports globally, spanning across the UK, Italy, Australia, Chile, and Mexico.
