Austin Theatre Alliance (Paramount and State Theatres)

Austin Theatre Alliance (Paramount and State Theatres) is a historic entertainment venue that has been a part of Austin's cultural fabric since its opening in 1915. Operated by the Austin Theatre Alliance (ATA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Paramount Theatre and the Stateside Theatre offer more than just shows; they are integral to the community. The ATA's impact extends to over 22,000 Central Texas students annually through Paramount Education programs, hosts events like Moontower Just For Laughs Austin, and showcases premieres of major festivals and film events such as SXSW and Austin Film Festival. Continuing the tradition, the Summer Classic Film Series, now in its 48th year, remains a beloved local event showcasing cinematic history. Recognized for its historical significance, the Paramount is one of only 20 theaters in the United States that are over 100 years old and still in use as a venue.
