Advanced Manufacturing Ireland is a collective family brand for Applied, Industry-Focused Manufacturing Research including ICMR (Irish Centre for Manufacturing Research), i2e2 (Innovation for Ireland's Energy Efficiency), and Irish Manufacturing Research Ltd. These not-for-profit organizations are managed by and on behalf of Irish-based Manufacturing Industry and have created unique networks to share best practices, technology knowledge, and insights among member companies. Irish Manufacturing Research Ltd., established in late 2014, is a not-for-profit independent research organization under the Enterprise-Ireland and IDA funded Technology Centre program. This was developed from both ICMR and i2e2, creating a critical mass of capability for applied research in the areas of Manufacturing Productivity and Sustainable Manufacturing.
