Adelante Mujeres is an impactful organization dedicated to empowering Latina women to lead, working towards building a more just society. Recognized as the 2018 Oregon Business’s 3rd Best Large Non-Profit to Work for in Oregon, the company is committed to providing holistic education and empowerment opportunities to low-income Latina women and their families in Washington County, OR.

Since its establishment in 2002, Adelante Mujeres has positively impacted over 10,000 Latino families through comprehensive programs such as Adult and Early Childhood Education, Chicas Youth Development, ESPERE Violence Reduction, Empresas Small Business Development, Sustainable Agriculture, and the Forest Grove Farmers Market/Nourish the Community. These initiatives are designed to equip individuals with the necessary educational and leadership skills, ensuring their social-emotional and educational well-being.

Emphasizing the importance of shared values, the organization, staff, and community participants are dedicated to believing in personal growth, being in solidarity with the community, and loving and respecting the Earth. This dedication has garnered the attention of Umpqua Bank Charitable Foundation, which made a grant investment in the company on 12 June 2023.
