Alliance for a Better Community (ABC) is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 with the mission to advance social, economic, racial equity, and justice for the Latina/o community and the Los Angeles region through power building and policy advocacy. ABC aims to address pressing social problems facing Los Angeles and its emerging Latina/o majority without partisanship and political agendas. Their vision is to strengthen Latina/o presence in shaping local policy and leading advocacy efforts, ultimately meeting the needs of the growing Latino community.
ABC's theory of change revolves around sound public policy and advocacy, to ensure that all children and their families have access to quality education and a quality of life, enabling them to thrive in their communities.
