The 16 Tech Innovation District is a burgeoning hub for entrepreneurship and innovation in the United States. With a mission to create an inclusive innovation community for Indianapolis, it serves as the home to over 200+ innovation-related entities employing more than 900 people. The 16 Tech Community Corporation, a nonprofit organization responsible for managing the district, is committed to fostering innovation through its facilities and resources. Recently, the district received a $40.00K grant investment on May 17, 2023, with The Indianapolis Foundation as the investors. As it continues to grow, 16 Tech promises to be the birthplace of breakthroughs under the slogan, "Indy’s innovation district. Breakthroughs begin here."
