Zoo de La Boissière du Doré is a renowned animal park, located at the heart of the Nantes vineyard in France. Since its establishment in 1984, the park has garnered acclaim for its remarkable collection of animal species, including those facing extinction such as the orangutan, emblematic to the park. Spanning across 10 hectares, visitors can experience the African plains where giraffes, zebras, antelopes, rhinoceroses, and a group of African lions, newly arrived in 2020, roam freely. The park also offers encounters with unique species from Australian, Asian, and South American aviaries, as well as intimate moments with the animals in the mini-farm. Among the attractions are breathtaking bird shows featuring over 200 free-flying birds and animal feedings. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to extend their visit by staying in one of the park's unique accommodations, facing the giraffes or rhinoceroses.
