Zenno Astronautics is a New Zealand-based startup that aims to revolutionize space movement through the utilization of super magnets. The company's mission is centered around the development of enabling technologies for life to thrive beyond Earth, with a focus on effective satellite mission management and responsible use of space. Notably, in 2019, Zenno publicly announced the world's first high-temperature superconducting electromagnet for space applications at the International Superconductivity Conference in Glasgow. With a foundation in 2017, the company is currently preparing to introduce its first product, Zenno Supertorquer - a system designed for satellite attitude control. In August 2022, Zenno Astronautics secured a NZD10.50M Seed Round investment, with contributions from Enterprise Angels, NZ Growth Capital Partners, Nuance Capital, Shasta Ventures, GD1, NZVC, Alt Ventures, Arkisys, K1W1, and Wolfgang Leitner.
