YWCA El Paso del Norte Region

The YWCA El Paso del Norte Region is a nonprofit organization with a founding date of 1909. As a member of the national YWCA, which is the oldest and largest multicultural organization globally, it serves a community of over 50,000 people annually through numerous programs, classes, and support groups. The organization's mission is to achieve race and gender equity, economic independence for women, respect for diverse cultures, a thriving environment for children and youth, and a vibrant, healthy community. It is focused on eliminating racism, empowering women and girls, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. As the largest and most comprehensive YWCA in the United States, it is a crucial source of support for many families. The organization recently received a grant investment on July 7, 2022 from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas.
