Originally founded as Mardata in 1992, the company underwent changes in its ownership structure, assuming the names Baysis in 1994 and YAZ Information Systems and Trade Inc. in 2002. Notably, it successfully implemented its first banking package in over 30 banks in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and surrounding countries, providing support and additional development services to these institutions. YAZ continues to offer essential banking software support to its clients today.

The company remains headquartered in Turkey and has not reported its last investment or the involved investors.
