Worldwide Benefit Services (WBS) was established in 1999 by three seasoned insurance professionals with a focus on developing and distributing non-insurance service products. Initially, the company grew by providing travel assistance programs to various organizations. In 2004, WBS introduced ID Theft Assist, a comprehensive restoration service for identity theft victims, which has become an integral part of the largest identity theft program in the nation. By 2009, WBS expanded its offerings to solidify its position as a leader in providing cost-effective and prompt service plans for both businesses and consumers. Today, WBS maintains a distinguished client base that includes insurance carriers, large employer groups, non-profits, third-party administrators (TPAs), associations, and affinity groups. The founders of WBS identified a gap in the market for affordable, non-insurance-based plans and joined forces to address this need, thereby offering a fresh perspective on benefits in their industry.
