It was the vision of the eminent engineer of India and Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya to build an International Trade Centre in the city of Mumbai. The World Trade Center Mumbai is a unique entity and a successful model under Public, Private Partnership. A "Not-for-profit" organization that provides a platform for multifarious trade services and space-based facilities. Pioneering the World Trade Center movement in India, the World Trade Center Mumbai promoted by the M. Visvesvaraya Industrial Research and Development Centre (MVIRDC) is one of the premier WTCs in the country, recognised as a prestigious trade and business destination to promote India’s International Trade. WTC Mumbai is also a member of the World Trade Centers Association, New York which is an unparalleled network of 330 WTCs across 100 countries. As a leading Trade Promotion Organization, WTC Mumbai is actively involved in world trade development from its networks with government, business/corporate sectors, and academia for promoting inclusive growth of the region.
