The Three Rivers Workforce Development Board (TRWDB) provides oversight of the "WorkSource Three Rivers" job training programs in Butts, Carroll, Coweta, Heard, Lamar, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding, Troup, and Upson Counties. The job training programs are provided through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), and the TRWDB for the 10 county workforce area. WorkSource Three Rivers provides business services to support area employers with their skilled labor needs. WorkSource Three Rivers also provides advanced certification and credential career pathways, career services, job training assistance, on the job training, and other activities to increase the pool of skilled workers in the WorkSource Three Rivers area. WorkSource Three Rivers activities focus on high demand occupations within the 10 county area, and active coordination with business, economic development, education, public policy professionals within the area.
