Women in Life Science Denmark

Women in Life Science Denmark (WiLD) is a newly established network in Denmark aimed at unlocking the full potential of diverse talent in the life science field. The network specifically targets executives, non-executive directors, experienced specialists, and top-level scientists in both industry and academia. The €63.80K grant investment received on 13 June 2023 from Lundbeckfonden Ventures highlights early support and validation. WiLD's primary goal is to support value creation in Danish Life Science by promoting diversity at executive and senior specialist levels. The network seeks to create an inspiring, science-centric forum for women in senior positions, aiming to increase their visibility in leadership roles. WiLD members aspire to serve as visible role models to inspire the next generation of women to assume leadership positions. This initiative aligns with the industry's growing recognition of the importance of diversity and inclusion, positioning WiLD as a meaningful contributor to Denmark's life science landscape.
