Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc.

Women in Distress is a non-profit organization established in 1974 with a mission to provide support and resources for women in crisis situations. The organization focuses on addressing issues such as domestic violence, abuse, and homelessness, offering a safe haven and empowerment programs to help women rebuild their lives. In an effort to further their impactful work, Spirit Charitable Foundation recently made a grant investment in the organization on 13 June 2022. This investment will undoubtedly contribute to the expansion of Women in Distress's reach and the enhancement of their services, ultimately making a meaningful difference in the lives of countless women in need.
