Willton Investment Management is a U.S. based investment firm focused on providing joint venture equity in multifamily development and acquisition projects. Founded in 2017 by the Luo Family, who are predominately real estate developers with extensive experience in condo and mixed-use development across East Asia. The firm's investment strategy is to maximize risk-adjusted returns across all market cycles by focusing on long-term capital preservation. They primarily focus on investing in projects within micro markets that possess various economic drivers for growth, an underlying employment base of highly educated workers, markets with a millennial workforce, household income above the national average, a supply constraint rental market with lack of available land, and a land basis difficult to replicate. As of 1st Quarter 2023, Willton has invested/committed $300+ million in equity across thirteen multifamily rental projects with more than 5,000 rental units under construction/ownership. With a well-capitalized status and full discretion over its capital, Willton possesses extensive market knowledge and focuses on cultivating long-term relationships with complete transparency. They primarily invest as limited partner and co-GP partner in new development and existing multifamily properties.
