Wildlands

Wildlands is a habitat development, land management, and environmental planning company with projects throughout the Western United States. The company, established in 1991, is a national leader in establishing wetland banks and conservation banks that enhance water quality and protect wildlife habitat in perpetuity. Offering a wide array of environmental solutions, including ecosystem and mitigation banking, environmental restoration, habitat stewardship, land management, integrated agriculture, and more, Wildlands enables compensatory mitigation to restore and protect wetlands and other sensitive habitats while allowing builders and public works agencies to focus on their own missions. Notably, Wildlands created the first mitigation bank west of the Mississippi in 1994 and has undertaken over 75 projects covering more than 45,000 acres. The company's vertical integration ensures the ecological and financial success of the projects. With its last Private Equity Round investment dated 20 March 2007, Wildlands drew support from Parthenon Capital Partners. As an ESG-focused entity, Wildlands continues to be a crucial player in providing habitat mitigation solutions throughout the West Coast for over 30 years.
