Washburn Center For Children is a vital community-based provider with a history of over 141 years, catering to the mental health care of more than 4,200 Twin Cities’ children and their families annually. The center's focus is on providing affordable, accessible, and culturally responsive services, ensuring they reach families where they live, learn, and play.

The mental health care provided by Washburn Center for Children acts as a safety-net, making it available to all children and families in need. The organization is dedicated to balancing community needs, financial sustainability, and staff well-being to sustain its mission for future generations.

This dedication is supported by generous donors who ensure financial sustainability, despite historical underinvestment in the mental health care system. Their last investment of $100.00K came in the form of a grant from the Otto Bremer Trust on 11 August 2022.
