Wanxue Education

Wanxue Education is an education technology company that focuses on providing advanced non-academic education for individuals with degrees higher than a Bachelor’s. Their services include tutoring for postgraduate entrance exams and civil servant exams for those with at least undergraduate degrees. Founded in 1998 by a group of educators from Renmin University of China, Peking University, and Tsinghua University, Wanxue Haiwen initiated the first pre-exam training program for postgraduates in China, subsequently gaining approval from the Ministry of Education. In August 2006, Dr. Zhang Rui, the president of Haiwe Kaoyan, secured investments from Feng Yunlei, the founder of 51 Jobs, and Huaxing Capital to establish Wanxue Education Technology, with Wanxue Haiwen as its flagship brand. The company secured a $100.00M Series D investment on 15 January 2020 from Index Capital and ADV Partners. Wanxue Education operates in the EdTech and Education industries.
