VisionCorps

VisionCorps is a Pennsylvania-based non-profit organization founded in 1926 with a mission to empower individuals with vision loss to attain independence. Originally starting as a small workshop for blind individuals, it has now expanded its operations to include manufacturing, food processing, and administrative services, employing over 150 individuals, 75% of whom are blind or vision impaired. The organization's Rehabilitation and Youth Services aim to provide tools and training for individuals with vision impairment to achieve independence with a focus on Lancaster, Lebanon, Chester, York and Adams counties. Additionally, their Prevention of Blindness services include KidSight, screening over 8,000 children for vision loss.
