Virosac is the leading company in Italy in the production of household products, especially waste bags and freezer bags. Established 50 years ago, it currently employs over 100 employees working in Italy, in two plants in Pederobba (TV). Using state-of-the-art equipment, the company processes 8,000 tons of material annually and produces 600 million bags. Initially focused on fridge bags, Virosac has expanded its production to include various types of waste bags and solutions for the kitchen, wardrobe, and garden. Virosac's uniqueness lies in its ability to create new products, such as the patented Lacciosac system for more practical bag closure, anti-drip welding to prevent breakages, and the Stopsac, in addition to the Saccofrigo with an incorporated lace. Environmental protection is crucial for Virosac, being among the first companies in Italy to optimize the use of recycled plastics or biodegradable materials and minimize product packaging. The company operates in diversified industries, including Agriculture, Consumer Goods, E-Commerce, Food and Beverage, and Manufacturing. Its last investment was a Private Equity Round secured on July 1, 2012, with Alto Partners SGR being the investor.
