Verband Zürcher Krankenhäuser (VZK) is the largest association of healthcare providers in the canton of Zurich. Representing 35 institutions with around 40,800 employees and treating 243,000 inpatients annually, VZK generates an impressive 6.1 billion Swiss francs in revenue. Comprising acute care clinics, rehabilitation clinics, psychiatric clinics, speciality clinics, and care centres in the canton of Zurich, VZK advocates for its members' interests in front of policymakers, authorities, insurers and their associations, other interest groups in healthcare and social services, as well as the public. Additionally, it promotes experience sharing among its members. Founded in 1940, VZK operates in the Health Care and IT industries.
